More than 4,500 participants swim down the Limmat River every year – a Zurich highlight. This year, a new exclusive ticket category is being launched for the Limmat swimming event, the ewz Limmatstrom tickets. Be among the first to take a dip and see the city from a whole new angle alongside the new ewz swimming mascot. You will also receive a handy Limmat bag and benefit from a separate check-in area on site.

Conditions of entry
- Entry deadline: 9 August 2026
- Swimming is at your own risk. You must be able to swim the 2,000-metre distance from the Frauenbad Stadthausquai to the ‘Oberer Letten’ river pool independently.
- Minimum age 12 years. Passing a water safety check (WSC) does not replace the age limit.
- By participating in the competition, participants confirm that they have read and accept the general terms and conditions (GTC) of the Limmat swimming event. The GTCs can be viewed at: General
- All residents of Zurich and the Grisons over the age of 18 are eligible to participate in the prize draw.
- The winners will be notified on Facebook/Instagram or by email.
- All decisions are final, and there is no right of appeal. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the prize draw. Prizes cannot be converted into cash and cannot be transferred. Facebook/Instagram are not involved with the prize draw in any way.
- Employees of ewz and their families and employees of competition cooperation partners are excluded from taking part.

By taking part in the competition you consent to ewz’s use of your first and last name, place of residence and email address for the processing of the competition and for marketing purposes during and following the competition. This applies to emails containing information on any ewz products or services and ewz surveys.
